Rachel Emma Goodwin is a dynamic, Los Angeles-based actor who thrives in the high-stakes extremes of dramatic screen performance- capturing the room as either a deceptive antagonist, a relentless survivor or a wide-eyed ingenue.

 

A graduate of the California Institute of the Arts (CalArts) BFA Acting program, Rachel brings a powerful artistic contrast to her work. Her petite, youthful, and soft physical profile allows her to seamlessly inhabit vulnerable leads under extreme duress- while masking a sharp technical capability for playing the chillingly manipulative friend or the calculating villain you love to hate.

 

This range was pushed to its limits during a recent 15-month screen sprint in Southeast Asia, where she starred as the lead or co-lead in over 50 vertical series. Navigating these grueling production schedules served as a masterclass in on-camera precision, sharpening her ability to anchor intense emotional stakes in a single take and deliver flawless, rapid-fire dialogue under pressure.

Rachel’s extensive training includes the Interlochen Arts Academy, the Humphreys School of Musical Theatre, and ongoing study at the Margie Haber Studio in Los Angeles. This deep conservatory background enables her to navigate complex character psychology safely and efficiently on modern, fast-paced sets. She is also a trained 4-octave soprano with rich stage and musical roots.

 

She can next be seen putting her dramatic edge to use starring as Taylor, the vindictive co-lead in the upcoming indie drama, Sleeping with Sedona (2027), and in a Leading role as Brooke in the thriller, Shark Thrash (2026, Asylum Productions).
